About Tangible's Projects

Our main focus is the online learning market, and many of our plugins, even those not entirely dedicated to that purpose, fit into our larger vision for WordPress-based learning management systems.

Our plugin projects are all built for WordPress, and as such all licensed under GPL. Open source is important to us as a company, but it also means that we can't rent-seek. We're working on expanding our plugins to integrate useful cloud services operated by us, to ensure we have revenue for the long term. Some of our ideas include:

  • Cloud storage and marketplace for L&L and Tangible Blocks
  • Cloud storage for Video and Audio integrated into Tangible Player
  • An agency licensing management tool for all of our plugins
  • Cloud certificate PDF generation for Tangible Cred + Cert
  • Cloud OpenBadge generation and hosting for Tangible Cred

We can't pursue many of these goals before we start bringing in revenue from these products, so currently we're prioritizing getting to market!
